Editor’s Welcome

Welcome friends! Life is Change, just as old cells dieand are replaced by new, death and decay result in new fertility and growth; this is the circle of life.

I have learned much about myself, through managing the RV Park, ultimately resigning to pursue higher things. It’s all good, as it helps in my quest to follow Socrates’ favorite advice "Know Thyself".

Freed of the RV Park’s responsibility I can again see the light in all people, instead of being required to look for darkness in them.

To live is to learn and not all lessons are fun at the time but all are valuable. My article "Going to Extremes" points out more Global lessons. Seriones’ message points, as always, to higher reasons for mundane lessons.

So I hope you find this newsletter useful or at least entertaining, as you face life and its lessons with love and conviction.

Diane’s Welcome

Our daughter, Ashlee, moved with our grandson, Austyn, to California and we have been blessed with them being close. Ashlee is enjoying her job and new friends. Austyn has grown so much since his arrival that it has been mind boggling. These babies appear to be extremely advanced. They definitely know what they want, and will express when their surroundings are out of balance. Austyn will sound off when he senses chaotic emotion within an individual (expressed or suppressed).
I am very proud of my oldest daughter, Maria who lives in Indiana. She and her husband, Joseph bought a house this year. She is working full time and studies to receive her bachelors degree as well as raising both our granddaughters, Desi and Gabby. She is truly an inspiration.
Jeffrey and I took 3 days and traveled to the California Redwoods on the coast and thoroughly enjoyed being surrounded by these massive elders. It is a breath of fresh air to walk among them and see their wonder, and yet another to feel their existence. We also loved the vastness of the ocean beaches from California into Oregon. We stayed at the Best Western in Brookings, OR where the ocean was a 100 ft. from our sliding glass door. What a view, with plenty of relaxation which we were both very grateful for!!!
I am asking for your assistance with our newsletter so that we may continue sending them out. Due to the abundance of clients, our printing and mailing expenses have increased dramatically. If you have e-mail, and are receiving a hard copy of our newsletter, we would really appreciate sending the newsletter to your e-mail address. Please send me an e-mail: diane_rose@earthlink.net. If you do not have internet access you will continue receiving the hard copies. Thank-you so much :-)

Wishing you Holidays filled with fun, love and blessings....Diane

With Love, From Serione'

It is a time of closure and many are feeling the change internally and seeing the shift externally. Much clearing has been initiated and will come to a close mid September for majority. Those of you who resist growth and have become complacent will intensify struggle by avoiding that which is in your face to process and purge. The desires that have been heartfelt will manifest within your fall time frame of new beginnings. New beginnings bring rewards to those who exuberate patience, perseverance and faith in what lies beyond what the physical eyes see. Unattached heartfelt desires spark the momentum of sychronicities which appear in subtle form. As you become aware and attuned with your creation you step into a whirlwind of events perpendicular to your intent. We provide the ways and means with various outcomes and choices. Your part, is to simply allow, make decisions and take action, when action is called for. Desires materialize as you are aligned analytically and emotionally to the outcome of your choice. The storms (metaphorically) on your planet are personal to all who have been affected. Suppressed emotion and attachment will bring about engaged emotion and detachment. We wish for you to realize that your physical surroundings and experiences are directly related to your internal beliefs and emotional patterns. These patterns directly affect your perception and your response to any given situation, causing the ebb and flow of the Universe to mirror back your reality. Individuals, groups, communities, and nations, does not matter, it is all based on this truth. Can you not see why your world is in such disarray? The greatest gift you give to yourself, those around you and the world is self awareness and responsibility of your perception and emotion.

We wish you ease and grace in your
transformation

The Smell Of Rain

Is this a true story or a modern parable? Either way its worth reading this article we received by email.

A cold March wind danced around the dead of night in Dallas as the doctor walked into the small hospital room of Diana Blessing. Still groggy from surgery, her husband David held her hand as they braced themselves for the latest news.

That afternoon of March 10, 1991, complications had forced Diana, only 24-weeks pregnant, to undergo an emergency cesarean to deliver the couple’s new daughter, Danae Lu Blessing. At 12 inches long and weighing only one pound and nine ounces, they already knew she was perilously premature.

Still, the doctor’s soft words dropped like bombs.

"I don’t think she’s going to make it," he said, as kindly as he could. "There’s only a 10% chance she will live through the night, and even then, if by some slim chance she does make it, her future could be a very cruel one." Numb with disbelief, David and Diana listened as the doctor described the devastating problems Danae would likely face if she survived.

She would never walk, she would never talk, she would probably be blind, and she would certainly be prone to other catastrophic conditions from cerebral palsy to complete mental retardation, and on and on.

"No! No!" was all Diana could say. She and David, with their 5-year-old son Dustin, had long dreamed of the day they would have a daughter to become a family of four. Now, within a matter of hours, that dream was slipping away.

Through the dark hours of morning as Danae held onto life by the thinnest thread, Diana slipped in and out of sleep, growing more and more determined that their tiny daughter would live and live to be a healthy, happy young girl. But David, fully awake and listening to additional dire details of their daughter’s chances of ever leaving the hospital alive, much less healthy, knew he must confront his wife with the inevitable.
David walked in and said that we needed to talk about making funeral arrangements.

Diana remembers, "I felt so bad for him because he was doing everything trying to include me in what was going on, but I just wouldn’t listen, I couldn’t listen. I said, "No, I don’t want to listen to what the doctors say; Danae is not going to die! One day she will be just fine, and she will be coming home with us!"

As if willed to live by Diana’s determination, Danae clung to life hour after hour, with the help of every medical machine and marvel her miniature body could endure. But as those first days passed, a new agony set in for David and Diana. Because Danae’s underdeveloped nervous system was essentially ‘raw,’ the lightest kiss or caress only intensified her discomfort, so they couldn’t even cradle their tiny baby girl against their chests to offer the strength of their love. All they could do, as Danae struggled alone beneath the ultraviolet light in the tangle of tubes and wires, was to pray that God would stay close to their precious little girl.
There was never a moment when Danae suddenly grew stronger. But as the weeks went by, she did slowly gain an ounce of weight here and an ounce of strength there. At last, when Danae turned two months old, her parents were able to hold her in their arms for the very first time. And two months later, though doctors continued to gently, but grimly warn that her chances of surviving, much less living any kind of normal life, were next to zero.

Danae went home from the hospital, just as her mother had predicted. Today, five years later, Danae is a petite but feisty young girl with glittering gray eyes and an unquenchable zest for life. She shows no signs, whatsoever, of any mental or physical impairment. Simply, she is everything a little girl can be and more, but that happy ending is far from the end of her story.

One blistering afternoon in the summer of 1996 near her home in Irving, Texas, Danae was sitting in her mother’s lap in the bleachers of a local ballpark where her brother, Dustin’s, baseball team was practicing. As always, Danae was chattering nonstop with her mother and several other adults sitting nearby when she suddenly fell silent. Hugging her arms across her chest, Danae asked, "Do you smell that?"

Smelling the air and detecting the approach of a thunderstorm, Diana replied, "Yes, it smells like rain."

Danae closed her eyes and again asked, "Do you smell that?" Once again Diana said, "Rain." Still caught in the moment, Danae shook her head, patted her thin shoulders with her small hands and loudly announced, "No, it smells like Him... It smells like God when you lay your head on His chest."

Tears blurred Diana’s eyes as Danae then happily hopped down to play with the other children. Before the rains came, her daughter’s words confirmed what Diana and all the members of the extended Blessing family had known, at least in their hearts, all along. During those long days and nights of her first two months of her life, when her nerves were too sensitive for them to touch her, God was holding Danae on His chest and it is His loving scent that she remembers so well.
No wonder EVERYONE LOVES the smell of rain!

Going to Extremes

I have told you before that we are in a new age, one of greater spiritual responsibility. The dangers of that new paradigm are crystallizing before us.
In the “west”, you have a hedonistic society, based upon freedom, but which seems to have been corrupted by that very freedom. Western capitalism sponsors more steps down the slippery slope of moral decay. Businesses justify each step as their right to widen markets, for example, by identifying teenagers as a demographic to be exploited. Madison Avenue firms use marketing ploys that appeal to teen’s undeveloped morals, hormonally induced sense of alienation and their need to belong, to convince them that they need more and more risque fashions, expensive toys, and “Bling” jewelry. While parents try to steer kids clear of sex, sexiness is being marketed to them. Meanwhile every attempt to reign in on unhealthy excess seems to be met by Hedonists who use cries of freedom to prevent limiting access to their personal medication of choice (drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, food, religion, etc.)
Meanwhile in the Middle-East, you have Islamic extremists who point out these very same failings as proof that we of the “West” either in league with Satan or at best under his influence.
Christianity is based upon the ministry of Jesus, roughly a three year span, cut short by his sacrifice upon the cross. He barely had time to set out rules for living the “Christed” life, he had no real political power in his day. Contrast that to a religion based on a much larger legacy. Islam is based in part upon a book, the Koran (written entirely by one author/prophet “directly dictated from God”) and part upon the Hadiths or written examples of how the Seal of the Prophets (Muhammad, the Last Prophet of God) ran a nation based on one religion. This is why fundamentalist Muslims do not believe in democracy, because they believe God wants his faithful to run a government as a religious state, in the example set by Muhammad.
In capitalist western nations, slavery is outlawed in name, but credit and debt is used to, in effect, enslave us to keep working at unhappy jobs, to pay for the goods we were seduced into buying. I’ve heard eloquent lecturers speak of how the “financial ruling class” wants the working class to be sufficiently occupied by our jobs and our diversions (self medication and recreation) to be unwilling to rally against the “system”. If western conspiracy theorists see this as evil it plays even more into the Islamic Extremist’s view.
In the Muslim faith, credit debt is immoral. So disenfranchised, angry Muslims see the western industrial complex as this great Satan, seducing the young and undisciplined into lives of materialism and hedonism, while enslaving them and even entire nations with debt. Why do you think the “World Trade Center” was such a target.
Freedom with out self-discipline is dangerous. It’s why we don’t let children wander around “free” in the streets. To use an analogy, a river flows best within its banks, without which it becomes a wide stagnant swamp. But, blind obedience to religious dogma stifles and destroys as well. Think of that same river now in a concrete canal: no sweet meanders, no eddies and tidal pools, no wild life or vegetation along its edge. Such is the risk of enforced religion especially when Clergymen are allowed to “translate and interpret” God’s plans for the masses, then enforce their views with guns and bombs.
GOD DOES NOT WANT YOUR BLIND OBEDIENCE TO ANY MAN OR BOOK! The only true words of God are written in your heart. EVERY organized religion is based on some truth, yet human interpretation and intention taint every one. Power corrupts and many still use religion for power even if they may be so self deluded as to believe they are right and doing God’s work. If we are to survive with our free will intact we must do right for right sake, looking inward to those divine words for guidance, and we must choose to avoid sin.
I define sin as any act that detracts from your highest and best path. If you think of the Universe as working on the basis of energy, with higher vibration being preferred, then any act that lowers the vibration (yours, or another person or entities) is against the highest and best growth.
But wait it’s not that simple! We are here to learn and grow, so sin must occur, being done to us and by us, that we can learn. This said, it takes a little of the sting out of calling ourselves “sinners”. Simply put anyone in the school of life is a sinner, just as every child in school makes some mistakes. That is not license to stop trying to avoid sin, merely a comfort that being human is not evil, and occasional failure is not such a bad thing.
Life, God’s path for you, is also like a river, flowing along in its divinely chosen course. Sin is like a snag in that river, small snags barely obstruct the flow, and are washed away in time, by the overwhelming flow of love. But, big snags can cause the river to leave its banks, and thus Gods planned flow for you, changes to meet the restrictions you place in the stream.
Bottom line, we can be either active participants in co-creating our world, or passive observers. Free will, expressed best by democratic freedom, demands a lot of self-discipline. This means you need to vote in the next election, even if for a third party that likely can’t win; thus you tell the Universe that you want change. Doing the work of light, means participating in democracy.
So, don’t be too dismayed by the impassioned expressions of extremists, their very way of life is in jeopardy (not a bad thing). I’m sure the dinosaurs fought for existence even as the environment changed to ultimately spell their extinction. Good news, mankind is evolving and growing, and though that can be a painful process, the pain is temporary. The growth is forever, and in the end, it’s all good.

Perception Is Everything

Stare at the four black dots in the center of the image for 30 - 60 seconds. Then quickly close your eyes and look at something bright (like a lamp the white screen next to the image). You should see a white circle with an image inside it.

Diane's Client Testimonials

Diane Rose Phillips has been a blessing in my life for 2 years now. Her guidance has facilitated my growth to new levels and awareness in my daily life. With gentleness, love, and coming from a pure space, she has helped me to open my eyes in areas of family, relationships, career and personal growth. I have felt totally supported and uplifted every time I have had a session with her. She has shared truth and has allowed me to grow at my own pace. There has been total unconditional love coming from her, which I believe has allowed me to feel safe enough to be who I am. I can liken Diane to a Master Gardener, who gently tends to her plants - watering, pruning and giving them space with a fertile environment to grow in. I am truly grateful for Diane being here and in my life.
